Gmail Auto-reply to External emails
1. Enable Templates in Gmail
In Gmail click Settings > See all Settings
Click Advanced > Templates (Enable)
Click Save Changes
2. Compose the email Template
Click Compose and Write your Subject & response text
Click the 3 dots at the bottom of the compose screen
Select - Templates> Save Draft as Template > Save as a new template (call it Respond to External Email Template)
3. Create a Label for the External Email (this will label all External emails that have had a Template auto-reply)
Click the + next to Labels on the left in Gmail
Make a new label call "External Emails"
Click Create
4. Create a Filter to identify the External emails and send the Template reply
In Gmail click Settings > See all Settings > Filters and blocked addresses > Create a new filter
In the From: put -@denemagna.gloucs.sch.uk,-@fodt.co.uk,-@drybrookschool.co.uk
Click "Create Filter"
Tick "Apply the label:" and choose "External Emails"
Tick "Send Template: and choose the External Email Response Template you setup earlier
Click "Create Filter"
