ColorVeil - For Eye Strain, Dyslexia and Visual Stress

Opening ColorVeil

ColorVeil is deployed to every Windows machine at Dene Magna Secondary School & Dene Magna Sixth Form.

It can be opened by navigating to:

Start >> All Apps >> ColorVeil

Turning ColorVeil On/Off

Once ColorVeil is opened, the users screen will turn orange by default - this effect can be turned on/off for the user profile by clicking "Show Hidden Items" () on the right hand side of the task bar and selecting the ColorVeil icon () - alternatively, you can use Ctrl+F11

Configuring ColorVeil

You can configure the ColorVeil Settings by clicking "Show Hidden Items" () and right-clicking the ColorVeil icon ()

From here you can select "Pick..." to pick a colour and set the "Opacity" with the slider at the bottom - you can also turn ColorVeil On/Off with the button in the top right

In the "General" tab you can set ColorVeil to start on system startup, and turn on the veil when ColorVeil starts. These settings are saved for the user profile on that machine so the next time you log on to that machine, ColorVeil will run with these settings.
